prove：俚语.用saying也可以,但如果用saying,后面最好用goes,免得says和saying一起出现不符合常理习惯.
saying前有old可以理解为楼上所言“正如一句古语这么说…”
用法的话…为了引出后面的话,陈述As an old saying 的saying的内容,用goes表示“…是这么说的…”,后接个从句,可用that引导.
如：As the/an saying goes that where there is a will,there is a way.（正如）俗话说有志者事竟成.
As an old saying goes, "Honesty is the best policy.俗话说得好:“诚实为上策”。
