2010年我的世博会
Shanghai will host the 2010 World Expo. The World Expo has a long history but it has never been held in Asia. So the 2010 World Expo is an honor for all of the Asians. Our government has promised that it will be the best one. And Shanghai, as a host city, will have more chances to develop quickly.As a student in Shanghai, I should learn English well so that I can be a volunteer in the Expo to help foreigners know more about Shanghai

Shanghai 2010 World Expo
The World Expo will be held in Shanghai in our country in two months' time. As a great many people will be visiting the country, the government has already built new hotels, new roads and some special railway lines. The Exhibitions will be held every part of Shanghai and the whole area will be called ' Expo City'. Workers will have completed all the work for World Expo in time. Everybody in our country is watching anxiously as the new buildings go up. We are all very excited and are looking forward to the World Expo they have never been held before in this country. As a student, I am glad to welcome people，especially children from all over the world to our country and wish to have a chance to talk with them and make friends with them.
2个月以后，世界博览会会将在我们国家的上海举行。由于将有大批的人到我们国家来，所以*已经建造了一些新的饭店、新的道路和一些铁路专线。世博展览将在上海的各个区域举行，整个地区将被称作“世博城”。工人们将会及时完成所有为世博会而做的准备工作。全国人民都急切地注视着新建筑的建成。我们也都非常激动地盼望着世博会的到来，因为在我们国家里还从未举办过世博会。作为一名学生，我真心地欢迎来自世界各地的朋友，尤其是小朋友来到中国，我也希望我能有机会跟他们交流并成为朋友。

As we all know that Shanghai will host the 2010 World Expo.The World Expo has a long history but it has never been held in Asia. So it is a great honor for our city.It is a great honor for all the Asians,too.As a host city,Shanghai will have more chances to develop quickly.The government has promised that it will be the best one among all the Expo that was host in other cities.As a student in Shanghai,I should learn English well so that I can be a volunteer in the World Expo.I want to help vistors that cone from all over the world.I will help them know more about Shanghai and China.I will do my best to welcome the World Expo.

Shanghai Embraces Expo
Celebrations spread across China when Shanghai, the Oriental Pearl was given the right to host the right to host the 2010 World Expo on December3.
Shanghai won the honor after beating rivals from Russia, Mexio, Poland and South Korea.
Bidding for the Expo shows that China is more confident of playing a more important role on international stage. It is competing for large events and the next one could be the World Cup.
