除了动词be外，还有begin，start，return，leave，fix，sail，arrive，come，go，stay，open。
a．Tomorrow is Sunday．
b．The show begins next Monday．
c．We start for Tianjin at 5 tomorrow．
d．His mother returns from Beijing tomorrow．
e．The train leaves at 6：30 this morning．
f．The Chinese Delegation flies to the United States this afternoon．
g．How long do you stay here？
2．在时间或条件状语从句中
在以when，after，before，till，until，the moment，the instant，instantly (一…就)，immediately(一…就)，once，as soon as，directly(一…就)引导的时间状语从句和以if，in the event that(如果)，on condition that(如果)，in case(如果、万一)，provided(如果…的话)，providing (如果…的话)引导的条件状语从句中，必须用一般现在时表示将来。
a．The moment she comes back，I'll have a talk with her．
b．The instant I receive your telephone，I'll return．
c．You'll hear everything directly you come．
d．In case he comes，let me know．
e．Providing that there is no opposition，we shall hold the meeting．
不要把 in the event that和in that event(如果那样)混淆了：It may rain，In that event，we won't go．
3．在某些动词或动词短语的从句中
在see to it that(要注意)，mind(当心、注意)，make sure(确实)，be sure(注意)，make certain(确定、弄清楚)，take care(注意)等动词或动词短语后的从句中，常用一般现在时表示将来，强调某一愿望或要求一定要实现。
a．I'll see to it that we are back before 4．
b．Mind that you don't say anything to offend them．
c．Make sure that the students understand the sentence．
d．Be sure that you don't set off without me．
e．Look out that the cat doesn't steal that fish．
f．Make certain that both doors are locked when you go out．
g．Take care that the patient is kept perfectly quiet．
4．在某些宾语从句中
动词hope，suppose，assume等后的宾语从句中可用一般现在时表示将来。
a．I hope he is here soon．
b．Suppose we go for a walk．
c．Assuming it rains tomorrow，what shall we do？
5．在其他特殊的场合
(1)to be+动词不定式表示将来计划要做的事。
We are to gather at the school gate at 8 tomorrow morning．
(2)to be about to do表示即将发生的动作。
The engineer is about to do the test．
(3)to be表示年龄时，可以用一般现在时表示将来。
Though Professor Smith is 70 years old next year，he is still full of vigour．
(4)why加否定谓语时，一般用现在时表示将来。
a．Why not have another try？
b．Why don't all of you come to our party next Friday？
(5)有时虽然动作发生在将来，但实际上与一般规律、规定或程序有关，在这种情况下，常用一般现在时表示将来。
a．Which train do you take for Tianjin？
b．How do I take the medicine？
(6)在the+形容词或副词比较级表示比较的从句中，常用一般现在时表示将来。a．The harder you study，the better results you will get．b．The sooner we start off，the earlier we shall get there．
