The least reputable member of a group; a disgrace.
This metaphor is based on the idea that black sheep were less valuable than white ones because it was more difficult to dye their wool different colors. Also, in the 16th century, their color was considered the devil's mark. By the 18th century the term was widely used as it is today, for the odd member of a group.
因为黑羊毛很难被染成其它颜色, 所以黑羊不如白羊值钱. 而且在十六世纪, 人们人为黑色是魔鬼的印迹. 至十八世纪, 其"害群之马, 败家子"的含义就与今无异了.
"黑马"是"dark horse", 不是blackhorse

英语有所谓"blacksheep",乃指败家子或危害团体的人.在汉语习语,却只有"黑马",不见"黑羊".然则,如何用中文表达"blacksheep"这个概念呢无巧不成话,两种语言都借用了动物来打譬喻.汉语的"害之马",也有"blacksheep"的意思.这句成语出自《庄子 徐无鬼》:
"小童曰:夫为天下者,亦奚以异乎牧马者哉 亦去其害马者而已矣!"
"害马"指的就是那些有害於马的"坏马",比喻危害集体的人.庄子拿牧马来比喻治理国家,认为只要把对国家有害无益的不良分子肃清,国家就不会有*.西方的牧羊人会用竿子责打捣乱的黑羊,同样,中原的牧马者也会教训害之马,以收整治之效.在汉语"马"就成了"黑羊"的"代罪羔羊".

blacksheep是黑马的意思,就是我们常说的意外的人,冷门的人在后来赢得冠军的意思.
在外国黑马不是叫"blackhorse",因为黑色的马很普通,但黑色的羊就很特别,甚至说是无可能的事物,所以用blacksheep来形容无可能或冷门的事情和物.
上面的不知道就不要误导别人.
