The Crow and the Fox
Once upon a time, there was a crow and a fox in the forest. The crow was ugly but diligent. The fox, however, was just the contrary.
One day, the crow found a piece of fat meat by accident. He was so happy that he flied around.The fox saw this. So he came up to the branch where the crow stood. Seeing the delicious meat, the fox’s mouth watered. He was desperate to enjoy the meat. Suddenly, an idea struck him. He praised the crow for his wonderful feather and his sweet voice in particular. “You are the most brilliant singer I have ever seen,” said the fox. Hearing the flattering he had never heard before, the crow could not help yelling at the top of his voice, “Wow! Wow!” The meat fell from his mouth to the ground. The fox picked up the meat at once and ran away satisfactorily.追问
