一、used to tell sb that sth is not important and you shouldn't worry about it.(没关系、不必在意)
—I still owe you for lunch yesterday. “昨天午饭我还欠着你呢。”
—Forget it! “算了吧!”
二、used to tell sb that you are not going to repeat what you said.(告诉别人你不想重复说过的话),翻译成“别提它了”。
Now ,what were you saying about John? “你说约翰什么来着?”

三、used to emphasize that you are saying no to sth.(休想、不可能)
