Unit 2 the view that one’s fate is a decisive factor in one’s life A:What’s wrong with you ? You seem to be depressed. B:Oh, nothing serious.I just think about my future and feel confused.. If only I were born in a rich family ,I wouldn’t worry about it. A:To tell you the truth , I feel a little disappointed . I don’t think one’s fate is a decisive factor in one’s life. However we should work hard to realize our goals. B: Even though you work hard ,you might not achieve your goals . Sometimes ,one’s fate really do works.. A:If you don’t work hard , you may never get what you want . As the saying goes “ No pains , no gains ” . You can’t depend on your fate all life. B:I don’t think so .There are a lot of people who work hard all their life ,but they just manage to support their family and never realize their dreames. A:As the time goes, one’s dreames will change along with their conditions . What they achieve may comfort them. And fate isn’t important. B:But I still consider that fate is important . Good fate means success . Everyone wants success and get what they want . Don’t you want to achieve your goals ? A:Of course , I want .However , if you succeed through your hard work , is it more meaningful ? In addition ,you also can enjoy the process of your realizing dreames . You will find ,sometimes the result isn’t as important as you think . The point is the process . B:Sounds reasonable . I’m persuasive of you . Maybe the most important thing is enjoying the process . I feel full of energy and I worn’t complain about it . I will devote myself to realize my dreame . A:I’m glade to hear that . Let’s work hard together to realize our goals.
