Aided by the traditional limit load silicon removal method, the new solvent can effectively remove silicon compounds out of the system and has greatly increased the power plant's overall economic benefits. It has made significant contribution to shortening the period to start-up time of newly constructed units, and to saving energy and recing pollutant emissions.
