How do we make our world more beautiful? It is a timeless question that has troubled human beings since antiquity. To my opinion, the solution depends on one's definition of "beauty". Some people consider skyscrappers, metallic buildings and automobiles beautiful. Therefore, they develop the urban cities as rapidly as possible, causing many pollution and poverty problems. Others consider nature to be beautiful and holds the belief that we should not disturb nature. These people set up National Parks, preservation areas in hope to protect the endangred species. I side with the latter. In order to make our world more beautiful, we should try to not make it uglier by controlling industrialization in the unspoiled lands. And as one of the Earth's inhabitants, I will try my best to conserve water and clean my sewage. Let us welcome Beijing Olympics with a clean China!
