I had the same problem on my machine (Windows 7, and a user profile redirected to a network location in my Active Directory profile).
The installation succeeded for me, after I went to my user folder (for you, that would be C:\Users\thayes), renamed the My Documents backwards-compatibility-shortcut in my user folder and clicked Retry.
The installer created a new My Documents folder with some Visual Studio 2010 templates in it. I relocated those to my actual Documents folder, then removed the folder created by the installer, and re-renamed the My Documents shortcut back to My Documents.
Looks like an installer bug. (The My Documents link is a junction point that redirects to the Documents folder that usually, but not always, sits in your user folder.)
在你的机器上应该进行如下操作：
用Acer用户登录
将My Documents目录改名，如My Documents1
安装Solidworks api sdk开发包
你会发现在相同目录下生成一个新的My Documents，将此目录下的文件考到原文件的对应位置。
将新生成的目录删除，将原文件目录改回原目录名。
测试一下吧，应该一切OK了！
