Flashback to Locke's life before Flt 815: his job, time in Australia, the crash...and a major secret is revealed. The camp is invaded and Sawyer's scavenging falls under scrutiny. Food runs out and Locke comes up with a solution. Jack organizes the handling of the dead and a memorial service is arranged. Rose has everyone concerned. When Boone and Shannon end up at odds, Shannon enlists Charlie's help just to spite Boone. Shannon strikes up a friendship with Walt. Michael and Kate escape something in the jungle.

EPISODE 104 SYNOPSIS WalkaboutWe are in Locke's dream as the show opens and it's moments after the crash.As his eye opens, we see the experience from his perspective.Chaos rages around him as he very cautiously looks down to his feet.We see him wiggle his big toe — Good, everything works.
Back in real time, Locke's dream is interrupted by Vincent barking.In fact, he's waking up the entire camp.He won't stop barking at the fuselage and when Jack and the others listen closely they can hear something rummaging around in there.But that can't be, everything in there is&dead.Sawyer?Nope, he's right behind Jack.When they shine a flashlight inside, two glowing eyes shine right back at them.Uh oh…
Three squealing beasts charge out of the wreckage and tear through the camp.As they disappear back into the jungle, Locke is able to determine what they are —Wild Boars.They've been attracted by the bodies that have been baking in the fuselage for the last 4 days.Something has to be done.Bury them?They wouldn't stay buried, not for long anyway.

Dr. Jack Shephard is not able to save a survivor drowning in the sea and he becomes affected by the incident and the pressure of the community pointing him as a leader. Jack has visions of his father in the island and tries to chase him. Jack's background story is revealed showing the relationship he had with his difficult and unscrupulous surgeon father, and the reason why Jack ventured to Australia. Meanwhile, the finishing water supply is stolen, and everyone suspects the nasty and selfish Sawyer. But Jack resolves his inner problems with his past and finds a source of water for the survivors.
Jack sees his recently deceased father on the island, and goes searching after him, and after a source of water which soon reveals Jack's background story about his difficult father and his journey to Australia. Back at beach, Claire faints from lack of fluids and the few bottles of water that were left are now gone, in which fingers are pointing... first to the evil Sawyer who may have consumed them for himself... and later accusations point to the paranoid Jin.
