If someone asks me, is it a good homemade gift or a good gift.

如果有人问我，是自制的好礼物还是买礼物好。

I will say without hesitation, "I think I prefer to make small gifts", because such gifts are gifts to express myself. Why spend a lot of money on those luxury gifts?

我会毫不犹豫地说：“我觉得我更喜欢做小礼物”，因为这样的礼物是表达自己的礼物，为什么要花大钱去买那些奢侈的礼物呢？

Besides, we have to ask our parents for money!

而且，我们还得向父母要钱！

I used my pocket money to buy a card for my parents as a gift, but I saw that my parents didn't give any joy on their faces.

我曾用自己的零用钱给爸爸妈妈买了一张卡片作为礼物，但我看到出来，爸爸妈妈脸上没有给任何喜悦。

I wrote them a small note. They read it over and over again. Even the exquisite small box has been well preserved until now.

I know Mom and Dad don't care about the price of gifts. They want us to grow up healthily and happily.

I have a big family. There are six people in my family. They are my grandparents, my parents, my sister and I. Though my grandparents and my parents are in different generation, they respect each other's lifestyle, so I barely see them have conflicts. 

我有一个六口人的大家庭，他们是我的爷爷奶奶，我的父母，我的妹妹和我。虽然我的爷爷奶奶和我的父母是不同的一代，但是他们都尊重彼此的生活方式，所以我很少看到他们吵架。

I feel so lucky to live in a harmonious environment. Today, the TV shows always present the negative relationship between different generations, but it is not happening in my family. 

我感到很幸运能够生活在这样一个和谐的环境中。现在的电视节目总是给我们看不同年代的人之间的负面关系，但在我的家庭中却是没有发生的。

I learn to respect each other. My parents set the good example for me. So sometimes when my sister and I have argument, I won't shout at her. When we calm down, we can talk to each other peacefully. I love my family. 

我从中学会了尊重彼此，我的父母为我树立了好榜样。所以有时候，当我和妹妹吵架的时候，我不会对她大吼大叫，等我们冷静下来的时候，我们就可以平静地交流。我爱我家。

There are three people in my family. Of course I am the only child. Both my parents are teachers and they work hard every day. They are kind and friendly so their students all love them very much. My father likes reading and traveling very much. My mother likes cooking and collecting stamps. I am a middle school student. I enjoy my lessons very much. I am good at English and maths. I am interesting in playing table tennis and I am a good player. My parents and Iive in Beijing . We often take a short trip ring our vacation. I think I have a happy family.
