母亲：亲爱的，我回来了！
Son: Hi mom!
儿子：嗨，妈妈！
M: What did you do all day?
母：你一天在家都干了些什么？
S: Nothing.
儿：没干什么。
M: Have you been playing games all day again?
母：你是不是又一天在家打游戏了？
S: No I haven't!
儿：没有啊！
M: Then how do you explain this?
母：那你怎么解释这个？
S: Oops! You caught me.
儿：额！被你抓个正着。
M: How dare you lie to me?
母：你敢骗我？
S: I didn't lie to you mom！ You asked me if I've been playing games ALL day, but I haven't, I've only been playing for a little bit.
儿：我没有骗你，妈妈！你问我是不是一整天都在家打游戏了，可是我没有，我只打了一小会儿。
M: You are just making excuses, I know you must have been playing for a LONG time, you forgot how you promised me the last time?
母：你只是在狡辩，我知道肯定打了很长时间，你忘了你上次是怎么跟我保证的了吗？
S: No, I have not. But I've only been playing for a little while I promise! I've been studying and doing research the rest of time.
儿：我没忘，可是我向你保证我只玩儿了一小会儿！其他时间我都在学习和查资料。
M: OK, then where is your researches and where is your homework?
母：那你查的资料和你写的作业呢？
S: Well... I don't have them, because I was just memorizing, I didn't write anything down.
儿：嗯...我没有，因为我只是在用脑子记这些东西，没写下来。
M: OK, that's it, I'm tired of you lying. You are not telling me the truth and you know it! From now on, you are not allowed to go on the computer for a week except for homework and if it happens it will be under my supervision. And you can say goodbye to this weeks allowence too.
母：好了，够了，我不想在听你说谎了。你知道你不是在说真话！从现在开始，你在一周之内不许上网除非是用来做功课的，而且如果需要，那必须是在我的监督下。还有这星期的零花钱你就甭想了。
S: What? Mom! That's not fair!
儿：什么？妈妈，这不公平！
M: Well, that's too bad, this was the deal you and I made the last time. You have a whole week to think about what you did wrong. Now start studying until I call you for dinner and that's the end of the conversation, thank you very much!
母：很遗憾，这是上次我们说好了的。你有一个星期的时间来反省你犯的错误。现在开始学习直到我叫你吃饭为止，我们的谈话到此结束，谢谢！

有一个小男孩爱玩电脑游戏。他的家长从来不知道。星期五放学以后他回家开始玩了起来。突然他的妈妈回家了，看到他正在玩电脑游戏。她生气地把他赶出了房间并对他说“我跟你说多少遍了你不能玩游戏？你要尊重我和你自己！”小男孩说他以后再也不玩了。
