facilitate=verb=to make an action or a process possible or easier. eg:- There are 5+4=9 workers in the conference room; 5 people don't know how to do the job.4 can. Then the chairman holds the discussion. Then the agreement should facilitate more easier understanding of the job to be done. Then the structured discussion facilitates the understanding easier. Discussion is the process of discussing aomething
and a conversation about something. After considerable discussion
they understand how to do the job offered. The job have been solved under discussion when everybody joined in to talk about.the difference and the methods.
facilitate discussion 即是鼓励大家在会议中对要讨论的话题或主题作出分享意见和建议等等 作为facilitator(促进者/推动者),你的角色可以不是会议的主持人或*,但要从会议需要讨论的"目标"出发,例如鼓励各方面的部门提出他们对这议题的正面可行方向(pros)并同时鼓励他们指出实行上的可能障碍(cons),从大家指出的意见时你可留意有否跟别的人事/部门/行政之间的相关性,当有关时邀请相关的部们同事或代表加入帮助"讨论"如何进行这些方法或解决那些障碍。 假如facilitate得好便会使同事间看出大家的主观意见被尊重的同时亦发现问题是可以透过大家的"共识"而可能作出互相帮助而往可能"成功"的方向推进。最后你的责任是要把正面互相可以协调和实行的方向总结一下,然后请示会议的*(或提出叫你协助discussion的主管)各人这样的协调方案是否合适可以开始让大家开始进行下一步... 记住作为faciliator最重要是尽量抽离讨论中的利益关系,就算你是其中一个部门的人,当有关的讨论时你也不应主动作出意见(请你部门另一代表发言);最好的facilitate discuss后你是可以在离开时跟讨论的议题全无需要跟进-他们之间已可以明白各自的负责部份(同时各人都感觉你帮了他们解决了他们来开会时以为是困难的情况)。
