2013年的4月5日，在经历了海上近138天、超过21600海里的艰苦航行后，郭川驾驶“青岛号”帆船荣归母港青岛，成为“单人不间断环球航行”中国第一人！那一天，48岁的郭川，在帆船还没到岸时，就急切地一个猛子扎进冰冷的海里，奋勇爬上码头，长跪在妻儿面前。

他激动地对妻子肖莉说：“我，活着回来了！”一家四口，抱头痛哭。

这次出发前，郭川特意把儿子的笑声编辑成歌曲，“最让我放心的，就是这首歌了”。
