I was told that you hated doing house chores and you feel bored when your parents asked you to do some cleaning and tidying up. But my dear Tom, from my personal experience, there are many advantages of doing household work.
For one thing, doing housework helps cultivate your sense of independence. If you get independent, you can take better care of yourself. Secondly, if you do house chores, your parents can get some time relaxing and taking rest. As is known to us all, everyone has a ty to keep the home clean and tidy. The earlier you learn to be independent, the better you will be in the future.

I'm worried about you since I heard from your letters recently. I feel that it would be beneficial to express my view concerning what you wrote me.
Firstly, I hate housework as I have not a few more lazy bones either. But as a member of families, I realized I should do more at least what I can because shared so with D-n-M is not only more than important, but do me so much good---one thing is that my independent character turns out stronger, and the another is that I learn how take care of myself.
Secondly, I can't do housework sufficiently that even more free times consumed by my parents, in the same time by which everything in our houses possibly keeps neat and tidy as it is. What's more, the earlier may we two see respectively clear what we are on our own account, the better our future.
Last but not least, all you and me has to appreciate our own dad and mum in order that without them, without us, so what are you going to do I honestly hope that you take the words I written before into serious consideration.
