早晨，我起了床，爸爸妈妈也起来了。我急忙穿好衣服，向门外奔去。外面凉飕飕的，好冷啊！我跑到房间，把我的棉袄穿上。
突然，我惊奇地发现昨夜我放在铁盆里的水已经变成了厚厚的冰，足有一本书那么厚。于是我手忙脚乱地找到了妈妈切水果时用的刀，小心翼翼地把刀插在冰和盆之间，轻轻地刮了一圈，然后把冰倒过来，就倒出了一块完整的冰。
我沉思了一会儿，想拿这块冰做一个锣。于是我找到了一团彩线，再用刀子在冰中间戳了一个小洞，把彩线穿了进去。锣就这样做好了。我兴高采烈地跑到房间给妈妈看，我说：“妈妈，看我刚用冰做好的锣！”妈妈说：“好孩子，你做的很棒，你真是个聪明的孩子！”
我把自己做的锣拿到莉莉家，我自豪地说：“看，莉莉，我自己用冰做的锣。”莉莉羡慕地说：“你真棒！我也做一个玩玩。”在我的指导下，莉莉做好了锣。我们把锣拿到楼下去敲，咣! 咣！咣！我们敲得更热烈了。突然，因为太用力，我们把冰给敲碎了。冰的碎块儿掉到了地上，我们左手拿着木棍，右手拿着彩线，呆呆地站在那里，眼睛里闪烁着懊悔的目光。心里想：好不容易做好的锣啊，怎么就这样毁了呢！我的小锣啊！
