.When I first entered college, I quickly realized that my habits from high school just would not fly. During my first semester, I remember thinking, "Man, I wish someone would have told me what to expect from
college . . . or gave me some tips or something." It took me a while, but I soon caught on. I ended up graating in just four years with al-Bachelor of Science degrees, was able to study abroad, and am now currently in my second year of graate school. I have spent enough time in higher ecation to know what's going on . . . and my family calls me a "professional student." Because the first semester of college is supposed to be the most stressful, I want to share some things that I learned (the hard way) that will help all of you start your higher ecation on a better track than mine did.
