有文字记载，想了解那一部分直接可以查阅，唐朝时期中国长安是国际都会，万国来朝，对大唐的印象较深。清朝的国门是被大炮轰开的，他们只是记住了那个任人宰割的弱国。

当然不是。只不过清朝是中国最后一个封建王朝。是历史上中国最落后的时期，而且刚好是西方崛起的时代，有比较多的文物、文献和图片资料。离现代不过百来年的时间，印象当然会比较深刻。这从侧面证明了落后就要挨打，就要被看不起啊。
在外国人的眼里长城是中国的象征之一，但长城和清朝有关吗？西方承认的四大发明和清朝也没有什么关联。这些难道不是对中国古代的印象吗？
换个角度来思考。一个邻居很穷很蠢，结果最近几年感觉突然发起来了，到处买买买，家里的地也比较多，也开得起豪车住得起别墅了。但在周遭的人看来就有点酸酸的，私下谈论的时候还是会说某某以前还不是穷得揭不开锅，家里连个像样的东西都没有，极少有人会说某某祖上有多风光吧？！

不只是清朝，但是印象最深刻的是清朝。
