A heavy storm broke out in Alabama,before it began to rain,the sky was so dark that people could’t tell whether it was midnight or evening.Then all the people there were preparing for the coming storm.
阿拉巴马州下起了一场大风暴，还没下起雨来，天就黑得让人分不清是半夜还是晚上，然后那里所有的人都在为即将来临的风暴做准备。
One of the familes there ,the Ben wasbusy .To make the windows be solider ,the dad was putting pieces of wood over them. At the moment,Ben’s mother was checking the flashnights and the raido to work well.After that,she find some candles and matches then put them on the table.
在那里的一个家庭，本很忙。为了使窗户更坚固，爸爸在上面放了几块木头。这时，本的母亲正在检查手电筒和收音机是否工作正常，然后，她找到一些蜡烛和火柴放在桌子上。
When Ben was helping mother make dinner,suddenly,the rainstorm was beganing.It was terrible !Dinner later,they wanted to play a card to have fun ,but becaues of the bad weather,they can’t do anything happily.

Ben tried to fall asleep but not,the noise of the rainstorm couldn’t stop,it was nervous.Ben couldn’t have a sleep until the wind was dying down at around 3:00a.m.When the sun came out ,Ben woke up,he saw the street was in a mess,the rubbish wasstrewn,the trees down.Soon,the Ben joined the neighboors to sweep the street together.
