不是for

如果你要说
（你知不知道）你对我来说是多么重要
就用(do you know) how important you are to me
如果只是单单一句“你对我来说是多么重要”
用you are so important to me.

to lewronaldo: american english is different from british english. and if you really wants to compare, i believe that british english is more proper. american english is simpler and more oral. you are very much to me is the american way of speaking, but i believe most chinese are not comfortable in speaking that way. and it also does not mean that our translations are direct translations and is wrong. There can be direct translations which are correct. for example 我想你 into I miss you. It is direct translation. Is it wrong?
