完整的可以改成定语从句
The person who has experienced difficulties of life

will not be discouraged eaily 这是被动句，不会轻易感到气馁（被气馁太拗口了）

（having experienced difficulties of life）只是后置定语，不是从句，从句是完整的句子。

discouraged 在此可作形容词——就不是被动语态。
也可作为过去分词——是被动语态。
