爱国从英语角度来讲可以说：love one's country；be patriotic
下面给你解析解析：country , countryside ; country , nation , state 这是两组同义词。
country 和 countryside 都可以解释为“农村”；country,nation 和 nation 都可以解释为“国家”。
country 作农村解为不可数名词，作国家解时为可数名词。先看一个有错误的句子：He lives in a nice country near Shanghai. 此句的错误在于不可数名词 country 前用了 a，这句话应当这样修改：He lives in the country near Shanghai. 他住在上海附近的一个美丽的乡村里。
countryside 只能是乡村的意思。“我住在城市里，他住在乡下。”此句中的“乡下”只能用 country，这似乎是习惯。
