籽料与山料和俄料的区别主要有以下几点：
1、第1点、含义不同：
籽料是指在河中天然形成的卵石形玉料，外有籽皮。经过自然的长期风化剥解为大小不等的碎块，崩落在山坡上，再经雨水冲刷流入河中。待秋季河水干涸，在河床中采集的玉块称为籽料。
山料是没有风化面表皮的或风化层很薄的玉石荒料，多为从矿山露头或掌子面上开采的原生矿石，指的是产于很高的新疆地区雪山上的原生玉矿。
俄料产自俄罗斯的软玉。软玉主要产于接触交代变质带及浅变质岩带的绿片岩相中，有时也可由基性岩浆岩蚀变或变质而成。
2、第2点、主要分布范围不同：
山料的新疆和田玉分布在新疆所辖昆仑山和阿尔金山一带。俄料主要是分布在俄罗斯、极少数在哈萨克斯坦和外蒙古。籽料主要分布在河流的中下游河床中。
3、第3点、特征不同：
籽玉的特征，它一般为卵石形状，块度比较小，多数留有黄、红、黑等风化色皮。籽料质地细腻紧密，光泽滋润、柔和，微透明，是新疆软玉中的上品，表面如凝脂。
山料的组成以透闪石为主，并含有蛇纹石、石墨、磁铁等微量矿物质，玉质为半透明，抛光后呈脂状光泽，硬度为5．5度至6．5度。
俄料的特征是外部带一层石灰状的表皮，很酥软,靠近肉的皮容易染色可以被利用来做黄沁，但做出来的东西是不带毛孔的，所以可从毛孔方面来做鉴别.里面肉细，有高白，部分结构相对较粗。

追答颜色根据古*载，当将和田玉分为五色。在王逸《玉论》中载玉之色为：赤如鸡冠，黄如蒸栗，白如截脂，墨如纯漆，谓之玉符。而青玉独无说焉。和田玉中红玉即为最上品，黄玉次之，然后才是我们现在说的羊脂白玉。盖因现在红玉、黄玉已不多见，故而羊脂为世人多爱。这里讲的红玉、黄玉、墨玉等，不是说玉的皮子是红、黄、黑色，而是整个玉从里到外都为红、黄、黑。
