2.be of +名词，用于描述或说明主语所具有的特征和性质，比如：年龄、大小、颜色、重量、高度、价格、出身、形状、种类和方法等。这个结构的否定形式为be of no + n.
柯林斯双解词典关于of的解释：You use of after the verb 'be' to indicate a characteristic or quality that someone or something has.（用于be动词后表示某人或某事物具有的特点或特性），所以可以理解为所属格。
2.be of +名词可以转换成“be + different / the same + in + 抽象名词”的形式。如:
The two rooms are of the same size. 这两个房间大小一样（这两个房间的大小是相同的）。
Workers and peasants are of one family. 工人和农民是一家（工人和农民是一个相同家庭的）。
