Memory选自歌剧《猫》《猫》是英国作曲家安德鲁.洛伊德.韦伯（Andrew Lloyd Webber）根据 T.S.艾略特（T. S. Eliot）的诗集谱曲的音乐歌舞剧。自从在1981年伦敦首场演出之后，已经成为讫今以来最著名的歌舞剧。1983年或最佳音乐剧奖等7项托尼奖。目前，《猫》是世界上票房最高的舞台剧，也是在美国纽约百老汇和英国伦敦西头连续公演最长的舞台剧。 剧中一曲《回忆》（Memory），已经成为音乐剧音乐经典，该曲被多达150位艺术家录制，该剧原版录音带销售量达到两百万张，并获格兰美最佳演出录音奖。如果说每个人都有一首生命中最至爱的歌，那么属于我的便是这首Memory 。从第一次听到它至今，那种感动和共鸣是任何音乐都无法替代的。听了这么久的音乐，喜欢的欣赏的越来越多，如果说哪些是最喜欢的，一下子还真是难以取舍，但如果今生只能让我听一首歌，那么我知道一定是Memory...夜深时分，街头寂静，回忆伴随月光而来，落叶在脚下滚动，清风开始述说...
Memory是首独唱，但我却非常偏爱剧中群猫合唱这一段，当幽蓝月光下，群猫静静匍匐 齐声轻唱Memory，那种静到近乎神圣的美，是令人无法忘怀的。
