The earth is our home and we have the ty to take care of it for ourselves and for our later generations. Fortunately, more and more people have realized these problems. Measures have been taken to cope with these problems by the government. Laws have been passed to stop pollution. I hope the problem will be solved in the near future and our home will become better and better.
全世界的环境问题变得越来越严重。例如汽车污染的空气影响了人们的呼吸，工厂释放污染的气体，山上的树木被砍伐，污水不断被排人河里。另外，无论我们走到哪里，到处可见随意丢弃的垃圾。事实上，污染正威胁我们的生存。
地球是我们的家园，我们有责任为我们自己和我们的后代去照顾好它。庆幸的是，愈来愈多的人们已经意识到这些问题。*已经采取了很多措施去解决这些问题，法律已被通过以制止污染。我希望这些问题在不远的将来能得到解决，我们的家园变得越来越好。

It has been estimated that smokers have made up half of the population in China. And the smokers are becoming younger and younger, even ineluding some middle school students.
Nowadays more and more people have realized smoking can do harm to people'shealth. However, some people still enjoy smoking. Why? Because some of them think it is a kind of fashion, some think it is of great fun and others, think that smoking can refresh themselves.
In fact, smoking is a bad habit. It can cause a lot of diseases. Meanwhile smoking is a waste of money. Besides, careless smokers may cause dangerous fires.
Smoking is harmful and it is not only bad for smokers themselves, but also bad for non-smokers.
Therefore, I hope all the smokers can give up smoking for themselves and also for the people around them.
据估计，在中国吸烟者约占总人口的一半，而且烟民的年龄越来越年轻，甚至一些中学生也在抽烟。
如今越来越多的人们已经认识到吸烟有害人体健康，但他们仍然乐此不疲。为什么?一些人认为抽烟是一种时髦，另外一些人认为抽烟很有趣，还有一些人认为吸烟可以提神。
事实上，吸烟是一种不好的习惯，它能导致很多疾病。同时，吸烟很浪费金钱。除此而外，粗心的烟民还可能引起火灾。
吸烟对人们的身体百害而无一利。它不仅有害吸烟者本人，而且对不吸烟者也会造成损害。
因此，我希望吸烟者为自己和身边的人们而戒烟。
3. My Home
Hello, everyone. I am very happy to introce our apartment to you. I live on the fifth floor. There are three bedrooms. One is for my parents, one is for me and the other is a study. There is a kitchen, a bathroom and a big living room. There is a balcony but it isn't very big. In the front of our tall building there is a small park. There are lots of beautiful flowers and grass. There are also some sports equipments and people often do sports there. I love our apartment very much.
4.A nice Sunday
It is Sunday and it is a fine day today. We come to the People Park with our English teacher who came from Canada. Look ! Tom and other five boys are playing football. Cina and some girl students are flying kites. Alice and I are taking photos near the park. Alice and we are very happy. Alice helps us a lot with our English.

5. A happy Day
It was sunny and very hot today. I got up early and helped my parents cook breakfast. Then I washed the dishes and cleaned the room. After a short rest I did my homework in the morning. In the afternoon I went swimming in the nearest swimming pool with my friends. It was really cool to swim in such a hot day. I surfed the internet and read a storybook in the evening. I really had a busy and happy day. 今天天气晴朗比较热. 我起得很早,帮父母做早饭.然后我洗碗打扫屋子.休息一会后我上午做作业. 下午我和朋友去我家最近的游泳池游泳. 在如此炎热的夏天游泳的确很棒. 晚上我上网、看故事书.我今天很忙过得很快乐.
