英语中,大多数单字的发音是有规则可循的,单字的发音是由字母和字母组合来表示的,所以英语就叫做拼音文字,即用符号（字母）来表示语音的文字.学英语首先要学好五十个KK音标,再按照发音规则拼读单字,叫做自然发音法.
五个元音字母在重读开音节（最后一个字母是元音字母）或重读相对开音节（元音字母后面紧接一个辅音字母和一个不发音的元音字母e）中,都念长音,即这个字母的名称：
